Malia has spoken extensively on political, social & cultural issues
Having been a representative for a national body, as well as a TV panellist, Malia has delivered talks and sat on panels across the globe. In 2016, she sat on the 11th Annual Bindmans and UCL Debate panel on Prevent; spoke at the Higher Education (HE) Convention; was a panellist for the Times Higher Education Awards; and spoke at the Labour Party Conference.
Malia regularly delivers talks and workshops in schools and universities across the country, exploring ideas around representation, racism and liberation struggles for young people and young women of colour in particular. She supported the conferences and work of London Schools and the Black Child, an initiative set up by MP Diane Abbott.
